General Motors is building buzz for the Chevrolet Orlando in Europe with a rather unique guerrilla marketing campaign. The company crafted a full-scale Play-Doh model of the MPV and parked it in downtown London. The instillation weighs in at a staggering 1.5 tons and measures 15 feet long by almost six feet wide. If you're trying to work out the connection between Play-Doh and the Orlando, don't stretch your gray matter too hard. As it turns out, the connection has less to do with any correlation between the vehicle and the malleable goo than it does with some research conducted by the minds at Chevrolet.

The automaker pinged 1,000 UK adults in an attempt to discern the most popular toy of yesteryear. Play-Doh handily took that title with 19 percent of the vote. We're a little disappointed to see that the modeling compound beat out Lego blocks at 17 percent. A full-scale Play-Doh Orlando is impressive, no doubt, but we've got a special place in our hearts for huge Lego builds. Hit the jump for the full press blast.

Loeb: No delight in Ogier?s mistake

Sebastien Loeb said his joy at winning Rally Mexico was tempered by Sebastien Ogier having crashed out while narrowly leading. The two Citroens had been battling for victory throughout the event, with Ogier 10 seconds ahead going into the final day - only to go off the road and break his suspension on Sunday's first stage

Report: 10,000 Buick LaCrosse, Cadillac SRX models face faulty defroster recall

General MotorsThe National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and General Motors have announced the recall of 10,000 vehicles. According to The Detroit News, certain 2011 Cadillac SRX and 2011 Buick Lacrosse models may have been built with a defect that can prevent the vehicle's defroster from effectively clearing the windshield. NHTSA is concerned that the reduced visibility could lead to an accident.

The problem was discovered to during a production trial, in which one in 50 vehicles exhibited the defect.

At the moment, no crashes or incidents have been reported as a result of the programming error, though it's worth noting that only a third of the 10,179 vehicles covered by the recall actually belong to customers. The rest are either unsold or are awaiting delivery.

GM dealers will reprogram the HVAC software to fix the bug free of charge.

When Tweeting Goes Wrong: Chrysler accidentally throws out F-bomb

chrysler f-bomb tweet

chrysler f-bomb tweetFor those of you who don't use Twitter, these next few sentences will be rather odd. Most companies maintain a Twitter account these days as a means of directly reaching out to potential customers and the public in general. The Chrysler account had an interesting message broadcast to the world this morning.

While we find it hilarious, it's also rather unfortunate. Chrysler has deleted the tweet, stating its "account was comprised earlier today" and "We're taking steps to resolve it." The Twitter account was handled by third-party company New Media Strategies, and it seems highly likely that someone there thought they were tweeting on their personal account. Whoops.

Webber: I?ll finish career at Red Bull

Mark Webber thinks he will see out his Formula 1 career at Red Bull Racing - after making it clear that he is fully focused on a long-term future with the reigning champions. During a sometimes tumultuous 2010 campaign, there was widespread speculation that the Australian could choose to turn his back on the sport. However, speaking ahead of the new season, a fired up Webber said there was no reason for him not to look at extending his spell in F1 - and that meant staying with Red Bull Racing.
